I traveled to Quito then the Galapagos Islands with a cruise. The price was right, and the trip was fantastic. The people at the hotel and on the ship were wonderful, and ready to help with any need. Galapagos was an adventure of a lifetime.

The trip was really fantastic. I understood from our guide that you were considering taking the cloud forest out of the itinerary in the future? We really enjoyed that part it was a completely different side to the islands and I would have been upset if I’d missed it.

Just wanted to thank you for coordinating a superb trip of the Galapagos! It was a perfect introduction to this magnificent paradise; and I will definitely work with you in the future to organize a longer tour of more islands and perhaps a tour of Patagonia. Everything was extremely well-organized and the guides were always punctual, friendly and informative. The staff at the hotels were also excellent.

The trip was absolutely amazing. Our local contacts and guides were incredibly helpful, considerate, and joyously took care of all our needs. Their love of their country and desire to share it with others was catching. I felt I saw some beautiful sights, but it is the people that will forever stay with me in my memories.

The boat was just perfect for our group and the service was excellent. Thank you so much for all you did to make this trip so special for all of us. You all did a great job, very thorough and considerate of individual special needs. You made everyone feel included and joyous. Bottom line: a huge success. The extra hand was not only always there, it was also unobtrusive so I was never made to feel singled out as the only senior citizen. Boats and I have not been the best of friends. In fact, I have always gotten VERY seasick - on small boats. . . I really wanted to see the Galapagos Islands. Well! It really worked out. Except for one rough moment, it was perfect. More significantly, the time on the water became one of the best parts of the trip. I hated to leave the boat and I now want to do a cruise again.The islands were amazing! Getting up close and personal with the animals, the snorkeling, the views and all the wonderful people were definite highlights. I had high expectations and this trip matched them. I really enjoyed it.

Our Galapagos yacht charter was in a nutshell WONDERFUL!! Latin Discover and the yacht operator are professionals and both companies exceeded our expectations. Despite our cancellation the day before arrival, caused by a sudden death in the family, and the prospect of no trip insurance and a 100% cancellation policy, Latin Discover helped organize a later cruise on very reasonable terms.

Without Latin Discover's long relationship with the operator we are not sure we could have achieved anything similar, and we remain very grateful for how both Latin Discover and the operator handled our last minute crisis. We were delighted by the Mondriaan, a comfortable ship with the best crew imaginable.

Every crew member could not have been friendlier, more hospitable, more helpful or nicer. They were truly a delight, all of whom surpassed our expectations about "customer service". Our guide Hernan was fabulous. His English is perfect, his vocabulary impressive and his knowledge about Galapagos and beyond, was awe-inspiring. He shared his extensive knowledge with ease providing explanations that were understood by both the adults as well as my niece and nephews (aged 9, 10 and 13). In addition, Hernan was wonderful with my father (who is recovering from a major illness), providing him ongoing assistance throughout the entire trip, and really special with the three kids.

Hernan's passion for Galapagos, the waters, the land, the animals, and the conservation of this special and unique place is both exemplary and contagious. We also benefited greatly from the boat's diving guide, Rafael, who spent much time with my family, particularly my father and the boys. Rafael made a special effort to point out things to my father that he otherwise might have missed, and when the boys grew tired of touring, Rafael offered to occupy them with special "children tours", spending additional time swimming with sea lions, making sand castles and creating special time for the children. In summary, we felt well taken care of and looked after from start to finish on this trip and our entire family would like to extend our deepest gratitude for such a wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations.

I just got back from the Galapagos and had a fantastic time!!!! Thank you so much for all your help. The Samba was an excellent choice and I would highly recommend it to any others that are looking. The crew was fantastic and I was definitely pampered. The guide was also fantastic - Rod. Can't remember his last name but he has a lot of experience and is definitely a heavy in the world of guiding there.I had spoke to Lisa and she mentioned that things didn't work well for her but an email to you solved a lot of problems.

I just wanted to let you know that the Samba and Andando Tours does a fantastic job.Take care and thank you again - easily one of my favourite trips ever. In a couple of days I am off to Cuba and then Trinidad and Tobago. As some point they will make me come back to Lima to teach, until then.....
